All the families attending the Family Cooking Club at the Recreation Centre today agreed that tacos are both nutritious and delicious! š To add some extra vegetarian protein to our meal, we included black beansāa simple and tasty addition! š«āØ

For dessert, we had homemade carrot cake with a soft cheese toppingāabsolutely delicious! š„š° Everyone agreed that cooking from scratch is fun, tasty, and so much healthier than modern ultra-processed food. š§āš³ā¤ļø
Shopping, grating, frying, and mixing are brilliant life skills, and itās great to start learning them early. The habits we build as children stay with us for lifeāso weāre thrilled that so many families joined us for Family Cooking today. š„šØāš©āš§āš¦
At the end of the day, families took home special goody bagsānot filled with sweets, but with black beans and fresh vegetables! šš„¦š«
